About Us
At Tide and Tweed Treasures, we believe beauty is often born from the broken places.
Each piece we create is inspired by the belief that nothing is truly wasted — not in nature, and not in life. Like sea glass shaped by tide and time, every fragment has its own journey.
No piece is perfect or unscathed, yet when the light shines through, something extraordinary appears. It’s a reminder that our scars and rough edges are not flaws, but part of what makes us beautiful.
Our treasures are crafted from found and reclaimed materials, celebrating the raw, windswept beauty of the Outer Hebrides. Every creation is unique, shaped by story, landscape, and the belief that broken pieces can become something deeply meaningful.
This work is also deeply personal. I came to the Isle of Lewis from Canada seeking healing, peace, and space to rediscover myself. In this wild and beautiful place, I found restoration, belonging, and love. What began as a journey of healing has grown into a passion for creating pieces that carry hope — small reminders that we are not defined by our brokenness, but transformed by it.
Each handmade treasure celebrates the beauty of imperfect journeys and the light that still shines through them. And with every piece shared, we hope to spread a little more kindness, connection, and joy.
A portion of proceeds is proudly donated to Western Isles Women’s Aid, supporting women on their own paths to safety and healing.
